Anakeesta in the Blue Ridge Mountains is a mountain home that features soaring ceilings and stunning architectural detail. A completely updated mountain lodge appointed with artisanal and luxury linens, art and antiques, a stay here will totally relax you.

Explore area forests, natural trails, waterfalls, culinary offers, art and history. A 35-minute drive will bring you to Asheville that offers boutique shopping, famous restaurants and historic sites, including the Biltmore Estate and the Grove Park Inn with its well-know champagne sunsets. Children will not be disappointed as there are many outdoor activities including zip-lining, tubing, horseback riding, as well as skiing and tubing in the winter.

Cozy up by the wood-burning fireplace in the living area and take in the majestic views of the mountains from the floor-to-ceiling windows inside the home. A king-size primary bedroom, primary bathroom, kitchen, living/dining room, half bath are all located on the main level. The upstairs level contains a king-size bedroom and second bedroom with 1 queen bed and 1 bunk bed - and a full bath on both floors makes everyone happy! The open-concept floor plan is ideal for a romantic escape or a family getaway.

This upscale home experience at Anakeesta in the Blue Ridge comes complete with luxury lounger chairs on the deck with a propane fire table and grill. Relax and soak your cares away in the six-man hot tub, as well, as you take in the sights and sounds of the Blue Ridge Mountains. We have struck a balance with the bounty of wildlife in our community. Watch for wandering elk, deer, fox, groundhogs, and the occasional bear.

Location Details
The tree-lined streets of Anakeesta in the Blue Ridge Mountains invite you to wander. Savor coffee and pastries (and much more!) at the neighborhood's own Sippers in the Valley. Take an after-dinner walk down past the golf course to Jonathan Creek. Check out the shops, restaurants, or just sit a while and listen to the birds sing. Designed to offer the convenience and simplicity of a timeless place, this peaceful community fosters a healthy quality of life where shops, dining, fitness, and recreation are all a short distance away. It's a smooth, scenic drive to either Cashiers/Highlands or downtown Asheville, both offering celebrated culinary and entertainment scenes. Popular attractions like the Smoky Mountain Park and the Biltmore Estate are also easily accessible. This Maggie Valley vacation rental is located in Western North Carolina and is approximately 35 minutes to downtown Asheville.

• The road up to Anakeesta is paved. It's a short and winding, elevated drive. It is maintained year-round, but a 4WD/AWD is recommended for winter months.
• Firewood is not provided for guest use. If you plan on using the wood-burning fireplace, please purchase wood locally upon arrival at any convenience store.
• While the home is surrounded by trees, traffic can be heard from the nearby road, particularly during the winter.
