It's a smooth, scenic drive to either Cashiers/Highlands or downtown Asheville, both offering celebrated culinary and entertainment scenes. • The road up to Anakeesta is paved. It's a short and winding, elevated drive. It is maintained year-round, but a 4WD/AWD is recommended for winter months.
• Firewood is not provided for guest use. If you plan on using the wood-burning fireplace, please purchase wood locally upon arrival at any convenience store.
• While the home is surrounded by trees, traffic can be heard from the nearby road, particularly during the winter.
